Being Spirit in Nature ~ Heart Hands and Mind

Connecting all our wonderful senses

Artist Statement

So grateful to be living in glorious nature here on the BC coast. The homelands of the Coast Salish and Tla’amin People, where the forest and glacial rivers meet the almighty sea.

Learning to be.

To be human, the sum of 7,500 generations, strong survivors, all related, warriors of truth and healing, one planet, one human race, many distractions.

Finding a good way forward

Imagining our world at peace in our lifetime…

If that were possible, what would you do ?

Camera in pocket from age 10, point and shoot from the hip, curious about life, our responsibilities and possibilities.

Love and kindness lead. Working together.

My art unfolds from the pen, rough sketches, good conversations, a click, saying yes, taking action, encouraging others, listening to others, being inspired by others.

Acknowledging death, the brevity of it all, our greatest motivation to live fully and share and be kind.

Thank you.
