Lungs of the Earth
One trunk reaches tall straight and high into the sky, hungry for light, the leaves sucking in sunlight to feed itself and the forest floor, producing oxygen for us all to breathe, the source of life on planet earth. Those high branches tickle the sky providing shade and shelter for the microcosm below, trapping moisture, bending with the mighty wind, a thing of beauty and great majesty, for sure.
