Walk in the woods after the rain.
The rain slammed against the house in waves, visible waterfalls from the sky, a day to nest indoors.
As the sun broke through inviting a walk in the forest, a friend called offering a chance to join a Zoom presentation of his spontaneous piano improvisation, a mini online concert. I was tempted to stay home, then elected to test technology and do both…
So phone switched to data, singed in, earphones on and out the door. Sweet piano melodies playing as I climbed the hill and entered the forest.
Below a few images from the walk, you’ll have to imagine classical piano music.
And you can join Craig for a future performance… Under the Piano… he hosts them regularly, west coast pacific time.
Somehow I saw things differently, the magic of his fingers on the keys, delighting in new richness of greens dancing on the leaves, blue sky beyond the forest, bark details in the trees and flowering blooms shaking raindrops turning to the sky again.
Surprised that technology worked amongst the trees, I got to share some of the walk with the Zoom audience on camera wherever they were.
Sharing nature, Craigs gifts and nature’s aliveness after the rain.
